Objectives of the Air Show

Marine Corps Base Hawaii presents the Kaneohe Bay Air Show in order to share our base with the Oahu community and continue good relations with our neighbors. By opening our gates to the public and delivering a free, world-class air show to the people of Hawaii, we extend our sincere thanks to the community for year-round support of our Marines, Sailors, and families. We enjoy and are very proud to have this opportunity to share the mission of Marine Corps Base Hawaii with you.

The Kaneohe Bay Air Show is also an opportunity to showcase all branches of military service and provide the public community the opportunity to interact with their military members and better understand their role in the support of our nation's security in the Pacific region.

Mission Statement

As the largest employer on the windward side of Oahu, as well as an integral part of the local community, it is our obligation to foster strong relationships with every element of this community, including: legislators, educators and schools, business partners, law enforcement, homeowners associations, unions, governmental agencies (federal, state and local) and our retired community members. Not only will solid relationships foster trust and communication, they will also help us reach a balance between environmental preservation and accomplishment of our military missions.
