Volunteer Information
 

 

Hundreds of volunteers are needed for the Kaneohe Bay Airshow to assist in food service, marketing, ticketing and more, Sept. 28-30. Volunteers will receive an airshow volunteer t-shirt, water bottle and certificate of appreciation. Volunteering also provides an opportunity to help the community, build self-confidence, gain new job skills and meet new friends! See below for positions currently available and registration directions.


Food Service Worker
Volunteers will be serving food and/or beverages. In order to serve alcoholic beverages, volunteers must be at least 21 years old. Food workers should be at least 18 years old.


Front Entrance/Ticket taking/Ticket scanners
Volunteers welcome patrons to the event. Volunteers may also be wristbanding and taking tickets. Ticket takers will work in the preferred seating area. Ticket scanners track and scan tickets to preferred seating areas. Must be at least 16 years old to work in this area.


ID Checkpoints
Volunteers 21 years or older will be enforcing drinking policies.


Marketing
Volunteers are also requested to assist with information booths,
corporate chalets and commercial sponsors.


Retail merchandising
Duties include stocking retail merchandise and helping customers.


Ushers
Ushers direct patrons to their reserved seats.


Scrip Sales
Duties include selling scrip. Prefer experience with cash handling, but not
a necessity.
